Gretna Crossing Park (GXP) Manager

Gretna, Nebraska is a booming City of the First Class located in Sarpy County and the Omaha Metro. With the brand new Gretna Crossing Park, a professional, dedicated individual is necessary to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of this community park. The GXP Manager is generally responsible for the day-to-day operations of GXP and the functionality of any contracts or agreements with others for GXP activities, maintenance, or scheduling. This enthusiastic self-starter is the face of the City presenting the first impression for visitors to Gretna Crossing Park. Specific duties are identified in the job description. 

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum five years’ local government experience in park management, park and recreation facility work, and grounds maintenance operations; specifically in an urban setting.
• Prefer degree in Recreation, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture or related field.
• Valid driver’s license
